FMSPRO COMMITS
Jacob Gil Monroy to Emmanuel University
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Jacob Gil Monroy to Emmanuel University.
Jacob is a highly technical and intelligent box-to-box central midfielder currently competing for Hoosac School. A 2007-born prospect, Jacob possesses exceptional vision and a natural ability to break lines, consistently creating scoring opportunities in the attacking third. Equally effective on the defensive side of the ball, he is known for his work rate and tenacity, often doing the “dirty work” required to protect his defensive line.
Jacob’s development was recently bolstered by a stint with the renowned Brazilian first-division club SC Palmeiras, where he trained and competed at an elite international level. This high-performance background was evident during his tenure at Hoosac, where he played an instrumental role in leading his team to a championship, serving as a tactical anchor in the midfield throughout the campaign.
Emmanuel University competes in one of the most rigorous conferences in NCAA Division II soccer. Head Coach Tim Starr is thrilled to add a player of Jacob’s caliber, noting that his versatility and experience make him an excellent fit to provide an immediate impact in the midfield.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Jacob remains a dedicated student-athlete, maintaining a strong academic record in the classroom.
Congratulations, Jacob! We wish you continued success as you take this next step in your soccer career.
