FMSPRO COMMITS
Maggie Bell to San Jose State
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Maggie Bell to NCAA Division 1 San Jose State University.
A talented 2009-born goalkeeper, Maggie currently competes for the New York Flash in the prestigious ECNL. She is known as an excellent shot-stopper who commands her area with authority. Maggie excels at dealing with crosses and is consistently reliable when making critical saves in the box. In addition to her club success, Maggie represents Team Ontario, where she has played an instrumental role for the provincial squad.
While several programs showed significant interest in her recruitment, Maggie ultimately chose San Jose State as the best fit both academically and athletically.
She joins a program led by Head Coach Sonia Curvelo. Sharing Canadian heritage, Coach Curvelo is continuing to build a strong recruiting class for 2027, and the addition of Maggie is a major piece of that puzzle. Her presence will provide security for the backline and help keep the Spartans in contention for a championship.
Off the pitch, Maggie is a dedicated student who maintains a very strong GPA in the classroom.
Big congratulations, Maggie! We wish you all the best in this exciting next chapter.
