FMSPRO COMMITS
Jeffrey Horvat to Buffalo State University
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Jeffrey Horvat to Buffalo State University.
Jeffrey is a mobile, 6’4″ center back who joins the Bengals following a successful career at John Abbott College. Born in 2006, the towering defender is technically sound and possesses a commanding presence on the pitch. Coaches have long admired Jeffrey’s tireless work ethic paired with his ability to break lines with his passing. Defensively, he is a force in aerial duels and a significant threat on set pieces.
Entering as a 20-year-old freshman after completing three years at Abbott, Jeffrey brings a level of maturity and experience that makes him a highly attractive prospect. While he drew interest from several programs, he chose Buffalo State as the ideal fit for his academic and athletic goals.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Francesco Cardillo, Buffalo State has built a winning culture, reaching the Final Four two seasons ago and narrowly missing the National Tournament this past year. Coach Cardillo is eager to integrate Jeffrey into the squad as they look to fill a vacancy left by their departing starting center back.
With his size and composure, Jeffrey is expected to strengthen the defensive line and help lead the Bengals back to a conference championship and the NCAA Tournament.
A big congratulations to Jeffrey! We wish you the very best of luck in your transition to the NCAA!
