FMSPRO COMMITS
Mya Varallo to the University of West Alabama
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Mya Varallo to the University of West Alabama.
Mya is an athletic and tactically intelligent goalkeeper currently competing for London TFC in the OPDL. A standout 2009-born talent, she is exceptionally comfortable with the ball at her feet and shows great composure when playing out of the back. Mya is a premier shot-stopper who played a pivotal role in her club’s impressive run to the OPDL Championship. Her performance in the semifinals was particularly legendary, where she saved two crucial penalty kicks to propel her team into the finals.
On the pitch, Mya is a vocal leader who isn’t afraid to command her penalty area or challenge oncoming attackers with confidence. Off the field, she remains dedicated to her development, working tirelessly with her goalkeeper coaches to refine her technique and “perfect her craft.”
The University of West Alabama competes in the Gulf South Conference, widely recognized as one of the most competitive conferences in the country. Tigers head coach Sam Wilson, who has a proven track record of success with Canadian student-athletes, is thrilled to add Mya to the roster.
Big congratulations, Mya! We wish you the very best of luck as you take your talents down to Alabama.
