FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Cedric Ngounou to NCAA Division 1 San Diego State University.

Cedric is a commanding 6’5″ centre-back who currently serves as the captain for The Borough FC in League1 Ontario. He also brings valuable experience from his time competing with the University of Toronto. His dominant performances in 2025 earned him a nomination for League1 Ontario Defender of the Year.

A natural leader, Cedric brings a massive physical presence and maturity to the backline. He is exceptional on the ball with a wide range of passing, allowing him to distribute effectively from the back. Defensively, he is rock solid—consistently winning his battles and organizing the team structure.

Off the field, Cedric is just as dedicated. He maintains a very strong GPA in the classroom and will be pursuing a Master’s in Engineering at San Diego State.

San Diego State Head Coach Ryan Hopkins is thrilled with the addition of Cedric. Coach Hopkins sees him as a player who can step in and make an immediate impact on the defensive line. With his combination of size, technical ability, and leadership, Cedric is definitely one to watch at the next level.
