FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Leila Aliassane to St. George’s School.

Leila is an exceptionally talented goalkeeper currently competing with AS Laval. Known for her poise and technical ability, she is highly effective with the ball at her feet and serves as an elite shot-stopper for her club. Leila has played an instrumental role in her team’s success, distinguished by her fearless playing style and her willingness to come off her line to challenge oncoming attackers.

Her development has been spearheaded by Rino Angelillo at Clean Sheet International, one of the premier training environments for goalkeepers. While Leila drew interest from several programs, she chose St. George’s as the ideal environment to balance her high academic standards with her athletic ambitions.

Upon the conclusion of the school season, Leila is set to join either Bayside FC or Rhode Island Surf, providing her the opportunity to compete in the GA (Girls Academy) or ECNL, traveling across the country to face top-tier competition.

Off the field, Leila is an exemplary student who maintains a strong GPA, proving her dedication to excellence in the classroom. St. George’s head coach Megan Coffin is thrilled to welcome Leila to the program. Coming off a NEPSAC Championship win, the Dragons look to continue their winning tradition with Leila expected to play a pivotal role in their future success.
