FMSPRO is proud to announce the commitment of Maximo Salerno to NCAA D1 Long Island University.

Maximo is a technical and smart central midfielder who currently plays for CS St-Laurent. The 2008-born midfielder is good on the ball and loves to find the pockets. Maximo always knows where to be on the field, making his soccer IQ extremely high and tactically very strong.

Last season, CS St-Laurent qualified for the Canadian Championship, where Maximo played an instrumental role in the midfield. Known as the quarterback, everything goes through Maximo.

While Maximo had interest from several programs, he committed to Long Island, where it was the best fit both academically and athletically. The head coach at Long Island is Nate Bell.

Off the field, Maximo is an excellent student, maintaining a strong GPA in the classroom.
