FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Andi Sherman to NCAA D1 Long Island University!

Andi is a very strong and technical central midfielder who currently plays for Athletic Club Florida in the ECNL. Andi has excellent vision and is known as the heart of the team. She is the team captain and one of the most positive leaders on the field.

Technically, Andi is very sound and knows where to be on the field. Andi also has a very high soccer IQ, allowing her to read the game and make smart decisions in the midfield.

While several schools showed interest in Andi, she has committed to Long Island University, where she felt it was the best fit both academically and athletically.

The head coach at Long Island University is Jim O’Brien. Long Island competes in the NEC. After a strong season, Andi becomes the first commitment for the 2028 class as they look to bring in a very talented group.

Off the field, Andi is also a very good student, maintaining a strong GPA in the classroom.
