FMSpro is thrilled to announce the commitment of Amélie Lemieux to NCAA Division I Southern Utah University!

Amélie is an athletic and technically gifted centre-back who currently competes in League 2 for Lakeshore. Known for her composure, excellent vision, and strong technical foundation, Amélie brings a high level of intelligence and precision to the backline. This 2006-born defender was a key player in her team’s U17 campaign, narrowly missing a Canadian Championship berth while consistently standing out as a top performer.

In addition to her on-field presence, Amélie excels in the classroom, maintaining a strong GPA and exemplifying the traits of a dedicated student-athlete.

After garnering interest from several collegiate programs, Amélie chose Southern Utah University, where she’ll play under Head Coach Kai Edwards—a coach with strong Canadian ties and a clear vision for the future of the program. Coach Edwards is confident that Amélie will make an immediate impact and help strengthen their backline in a demanding Division I schedule.
