FMSPRO COMMITS
Aidan Nielsen to St. Francis Xavier University
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Aidan Nielsen to St. Francis Xavier University (StFX).
Standing 6’2”, Aidan is a highly mobile center forward currently competing for Vancouver FC. He is a dynamic striker who possesses a natural “nose for goal,” while also excelling at holding up play and serving as a vital creative threat in the attacking third. Aidan is equally impactful off the ball, known for his relentless defensive pressing and a work ethic that allows him to cover significant ground throughout a match.
His ability to consistently find dangerous positions made him a highly sought-after prospect for several American collegiate programs. Ultimately, Aidan chose to remain in Canada to join StFX, a program that has established itself as one of the most competitive and consistent forces in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference for many years. Transitioning from a professional club environment at Vancouver FC, Aidan is expected to make an immediate impact on the X-Men’s offensive line.
Aidan’s excellence extends well beyond the pitch. Boasting an impressive 4.0 GPA, he is an elite student who will be joining StFX’s prestigious business program.
Head Coach Graham Kennedy and Assistant Coach Brandon Dort are thrilled to welcome Aidan to the program. Both coaches have high expectations for the incoming striker and are eager to integrate his professional experience and scoring ability into their squad.
Congratulations, Aidan! We wish you the very best as you begin this exciting new chapter in the Maritimes.
