Etyenne Caron to Lourdes University

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Etyenne Caron to Lourdes University. A strong, mature center back, Etyenne will be joining as an older freshman with a wealth of experience. He excels at leading the backline and setting an example for his teammates. Etyenne is a tough tackler and particularly strong in one-on-one defending. He isn’t afraid to put his body on the line to make crucial stops.

The head coach at Lourdes University, Matt Johnson, was impressed with Etyenne’s experience and believes he will make an immediate impact on the program. Lourdes University is coming off a successful season with a 9-7-4 overall record and an impressive 8-2-2 record in conference play. The university competes in the WHAC of the NAIA, a highly competitive league known for its international diversity and high-level talent.

Mya Gélinas-Melsbach to Western Illinois University

Mya Gélinas-Melsbach forward signing Western Illinois University

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Mya Gélinas-Melsbach to NCAA Division I Western Illinois University. Mya is a highly athletic and dynamic forward, playing as a number 9/winger for AS Brossard in League 2. Known for her strong goal-scoring instincts, Mya loves to take on defenders and has the ability to push players off the ball thanks to her impressive size. She also boasts a powerful shot that keeps goalkeepers on their toes.

Western Illinois is looking to rebuild under the leadership of their new and accomplished head coach, Ross Henderson. Coach Henderson is thrilled about Mya’s commitment and said, “She’s exactly the type of player I want in my program. She will make an immediate impact. You can’t teach a goal-scorer.” Mya joins several other Canadians in the 2025 recruiting class.

Off the field, Mya excels academically with a strong GPA.

Savanna Backus commit to Utah Valley University

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Savanna Backus to NCAA Division I Utah Valley University. Savanna is an extremely shifty, technical, and intelligent midfielder who currently plays for Pickering in the OPDL. She excels in connecting play and delivering the final product in the attacking third. Savanna is highly competitive and isn’t afraid to put in a tackle. Her work ethic is exceptional, and she knows when to track back and win the ball.

In addition to being a great playmaker, Savanna is also a goal scorer who excels at breaking lines, making her the heart of the attack. Utah Valley has been a very successful program in recent years, and head coach Chris Lemay is thrilled about the addition of Savanna to the team. He values creative, hardworking players, and Savanna fits that mold perfectly.

Utah Valley is also in the process of finalizing a brand-new, $40 million stadium, which will be ready when Savanna begins her career. The program also boasts one of the highest average home-game attendances in college soccer.

Off the field, Savanna is an academic standout, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Niko Batagelj commit to Emory & Henry University

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Niko Batagelj to Emory & Henry University. A strong, technically skilled central midfielder, Niko plays in both League 1 and OPDL for Cambridge. He is a smart player who thrives on receiving the ball and controlling the midfield. Niko possesses excellent vision and a strong work ethic. His ability to cover a lot of ground and transition quickly has made him an essential part of his club team’s success. Additionally, Niko is very versatile and can play multiple positions, making him an attractive prospect for many programs.

Emory & Henry University is focused on rebuilding and bringing in players who can make an immediate impact, not only on the program but also within the conference. They compete in the highly competitive South Atlantic Conference, one of the top Division II conferences in the country. Head Coach Didier Grillet is very excited about the addition of Niko. Coach Grillet believes that Niko’s potential has only begun to be realized and that he will compete at a high level. Niko plans to study business and take his game to the next level.

He is very energetic and loves to get on the ball, creating opportunities in the attacking third. Dorian is also a skilled dribbler and is known for his high energy and tempo. He is a player who will buy into a system and has a high ceiling.

Dorian currently plays for Lanaudière Nord in the League One Reserves. The head coach at Lourdes University, Matt Johnson, is very excited about the addition of Dorian and believes he has tremendous potential. Lourdes University competes in the competitive NAIA league, known for being one of the most international leagues, with some of the best older players.

In addition to being a talented player, Dorian is also a strong student and will continue studying business.

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Amiah James to The Loomis Chaffee School. A very athletic and strong center back, Amiah currently plays for CS St. Laurent. The 2010-born defender is extremely dynamic and physical. Amiah has already excelled while playing with girls four years older than her, demonstrating that the future is very promising. Amiah loves to push players off the ball and has been the backbone of the defense for St. Laurent.

Loomis Chaffee head coach Linda Hathhorn, a former Canadian National Team and professional player, is very excited about the addition of Amiah and knows she will be a great fit. Coach Hathhorn is highly accomplished and values not only great players but also great people. She feels Amiah fits the culture of Loomis very well.

In addition to being a fantastic player, Amiah is a great student in the classroom. Coach Hathhorn, who has had a lot of success coaching at the NCAA Division I level, is confident that Amiah has a very bright future ahead.

Olivier Vacante Commits to Tabor Academy

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Olivier Vacante to Tabor Academy. A highly talented central midfielder, Olivier currently plays for Rivière-des-Prairies. Born in 2008, he possesses excellent vision, distributes the ball well, and is technically sound. He is also known for his hard work and versatility, able to play in various positions across the field.

While several schools expressed interest in Olivier, Tabor Academy proved to be the best fit. Coach Patrick worked hard to recruit him, believing that Olivier would not only make an immediate impact on the program but also be a key difference-maker in the league. Tabor competes in the ISL, which is known as one of the most competitive high school conferences in New England.

In addition to being a talented soccer player, Olivier excels in the classroom, maintaining a strong GPA. The future is incredibly bright for him.

Bianca Miller Commits to NCAA Division I Texas Southern University

FMSpro is excited to announce the commitment of Bianca Miller to NCAA Division I Texas Southern University. Bianca currently plays for the talented 2008 Burnaby team, as well as for Team British Columbia. She is an extremely versatile player capable of playing in many different positions. Bianca moves incredibly well and can adapt to almost any role on the field. Her coach for the past few years, Dylan, said, “She’s the only player I can literally put anywhere. Her soccer IQ is through the roof. Bianca can play as a wingback, winger, or anywhere in midfield. Her explosiveness and ability to cover ground with speed are exactly what college programs look for.”

Despite receiving interest from several programs, Texas Southern was the best fit for Bianca. The head coach at Texas Southern, Kendall Ayers, who recently joined the program, is already competing for championships, finishing 6-1-1 in conference play in her first season. The program is based in the heart of Houston, a city with a rich soccer culture. Coach Ayers is very excited about Bianca’s addition and believes she will make an immediate impact on the team. The future is bright for Bianca.

A talented goalkeeper currently playing for AS Laval, Abigail is an excellent shot stopper and excels in distribution and playing with her feet. Born in 2008, she is eager to help her team compete for a Canadian championship, aiming to lead them to victory in the league.

Abigail has developed her skills and experience under the guidance of Rino Angellilo at Clean Sheet International. In addition to her impressive abilities on the field, Abigail is also a dedicated student with strong academic performance.

Northfield Mount Hermon Head Coach Amy Haefele is thrilled to welcome Abigail to the team. Coach Haefele believes Abigail will immediately set an example of leadership and bring valuable experience to the squad. Abigail will be joining NMH alongside another goalkeeper from Montreal, and the two will push each other to help NMH compete for a New England Championship.

The head coach at Wilmington University, Nick Papanicolas, is excited about Isaak’s addition and says, “He fits exactly how we like our wingbacks to get up and down the field.” Wilmington has a tradition of success, and Isaak is expected to help them continue competing for championships.

In addition to his athletic abilities, Isaak is an outstanding student, holding a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
