Chakib Bassou to Utah Tech University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Chakib Bassou to NCAA Division I Utah Tech University. Chakib, born in 2007, plays with Blainville both at the Ligue1 and U19 levels, as well as serving as the captain for Hotchkiss School. This 2007-born player is extremely technical and can play anywhere from outside back to winger. Chakib is a very smart player and always knows where he needs to be on the field. Chakib’s soccer IQ makes him special and unique to many college coaches.
Chakib is also an excellent student off the field, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. The head coach at Utah Tech is Jonny Broadhead. Coach Broadhead, who is coming off winning WAC Coach of the Year, is very excited about the addition of Chakib and thinks he will certainly be able to make an impact. Utah Tech finished a very strong season where they finished 2nd in the conference and were knocked out in the semifinals. Chakib will look to take his game to the next level as Utah Tech continues to build and compete for another championship. With the WAC being dissolved and the move to the new Mountain West Conference, Coach Broadhead looks to bring in players who can help compete and believes Chakib will be a great addition.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Mariana Diaz to Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Mariana is a very smart and tall center-back who currently plays for Shattuck-St. Mary’s. Mariana is technically very sound and has excellent vision. Known as being part of the backbone of her team, Mariana has been a constantly important piece to the back line, making sure everything is kept out of the box. On set pieces, Mariana does a great job getting on the ball and winning her aerial duels.
Hobart and William Smith Colleges is one of the top liberal arts colleges academically in the country. The head coach and alumna of the program is Laura Burnett-Kurie. Coach Kurie is very excited about the addition of Mariana and thinks she will definitely be able to make an immediate impact on the back line. Mariana is also an outstanding student off the field and maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA. Mariana also took part in the Model UN program with Shattuck-St. Mary’s, where she had the opportunity to compete among the best in rigorous competitions.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Jessica Petkovski to University of Incarnate Word!
Jessica is a talented goalkeeper who currently plays for the highly regarded Pickering FC 2008 team. Known for her shot-stopping ability and strong communication, Jessica brings a fearless presence to the field. She’s never afraid to throw herself in front of the ball and consistently shows bravery in high-pressure moments.
In addition to her fearlessness, Jessica is also exceptional with her feet and distribution. She thrives in playing out from the back, a skill highly valued at the next level.
Despite receiving interest from several schools, Jessica has committed to University of Incarnate Word. Head Coach Jake Plant expressed his excitement about Jessica’s addition, noting that he was looking for a goalkeeper ready to step in and start from day one. He believes Jessica is exactly that player.
Jessica’s team is currently ranked #1 in Canada for the 2008 age group, and she’ll be looking to help lead them to a national championship before starting her university journey.

Yassine El Moutaouakil to Snow College

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Yassine El Moutaouakil to Snow College.
Yassine is a fast and dynamic winger who most recently played for Lanaudière and also spent time developing his skills in the CF Montréal Academy.
On the defensive end, Yassine anticipates play exceptionally well and is a valuable asset in the high press. On the attack, he is quick off the dribble and dangerous in 1v1 situations. Yassine excels at combination play and creation in the final third, making him a handful for any defender and a constant threat.
Yassine joins Snow College with one of his best friends, Yassine Bouaouina, where the two talented players will take their collegiate journey to Utah.
Head Coach Jack Larter is excited about the addition of Yassine and looks forward to continuing the fight for a championship title.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Abdul Diawara to Otero College.
Abdul is a highly athletic and versatile player who can impact the game as an outside back or anywhere in the midfield. Currently playing for Garneau and Royal Select Beauport, Abdul’s game is defined by his elite speed, high soccer IQ, and exceptional athleticism, qualities that will translate seamlessly to the collegiate level.
His tactical versatility allows him to effectively combine, drift into the midfield, and overlap as a fullback. Abdul is a major threat in the attacking third, as he enjoys actively getting involved and initiating the attack.
Otero College is coming off a very successful season that culminated in a trip to the National Championships. Head Coach Alberto Garcia specifically sought a player who could make an immediate impact, and Abdul’s explosive speed—a trait that cannot be taught—was highly attractive to college coaches.
Abdul possesses all the necessary tools to be highly successful and will hopefully help Otero compete for another national championship. His ceiling is exceptionally high, and his future is very bright.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Sydney Wilson to the NCAA Division I University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Sydney is a very athletic left-back/full-back who most recently played for Markham and currently plays for Pickering. This attacking-minded defender excels at beating players down the flanks and creating crucial chances in the box. Sydney is technical, strong, and possesses great vision, often assisting on many key goals for her team. Her power makes her profile very unique, and her game will translate exceptionally well at the next level.
While Sydney had traction from many schools, she ultimately chose UMass Lowell, believing it was the best fit both academically and athletically. The head coach at UMass Lowell is Mira Novak. Coach Novak was looking for an attacking-minded defender who could come in and compete to make an immediate impact. Sydney is also an excellent student in the classroom, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Nicholas Alberga to NCAAD1 Oakland University.
Nicholas is a very technical and smart central midfielder who currently plays for St.George’s in Rhode Island where he captains and has been a leader in the midfield for the last 3 seasons. Nicholas is extremely clean on the ball and has elite vision on the field.
Nicholas is one of the best players in possession and does a great job switching the play from side to side. On top of being technically elite, Nicholas has a great shot and has scored some key goals for St.George’s. Many schools showed interest in Nicholas but he chose Oakland after realizing it was the right fit both academically and athletically.
The head coach at Oakland is Paul Doroh. Coach Doroh is very excited about the addition of Nicholas and thinks he will be a great addition to the midfield. Nicholas is also an excellent student in the classroom maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Ethan Clarke Rootham to NCAA Division I Oakland University.
Ethan is a very powerful player who can operate as a striker or left-back. He currently plays for Pickering and has also represented Team Ontario. Ethan is strong, physical, and maintains a dominant presence on the field.
His nose for goal and his ability to get into the box make him a very attractive profile. He is fast, excellent in the air, and knows how to find the back of the net.
While many schools showed a lot of interest in Ethan, after many discussions, Oakland University proved to be the best fit both academically and athletically. The head coach at Oakland is Paul Doroh. Coach Doroh is very excited about the addition of Ethan and believes he will be able to make an immediate impact in the attacking third. Ethan is someone who could very well score a lot of goals in the Horizon League and hopefully help Oakland win another championship. Ethan is also a solid student in the classroom.

Ella Knudsen to High Point University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Ella Knudsen to NCAA Division I High Point University.
Ella is a very athletic and dynamic forward who currently plays at Northfield Mount Hermon School. This striker has a great nose for goal and isn’t afraid to use her strength to challenge defenders off the ball. Growing up, Ella also played hockey, which helped develop her dominant physical presence on the field. Known for her exceptional work ethic and athleticism, Ella is a force that will do very well at the next level.
High Point competes in the competitive Big South Conference. Head Coach Aaron McGuiness is excited about the addition of Ella, noting that they need athletic forwards who can score goals. While Ella had interest from quite a few schools, she chose High Point as the best fit both academically and athletically. Ella will now take her talent from the snow to the warm, beautiful state of North Carolina. High Point is also known for having one of the nicest campuses in the nation.
