FMSPRO COMMITS
Alexis Martin to the Grand Canyon University
FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Alexis Martin to NCAA Division 1 program Grand Canyon University.
Alexis, a 6’6” goalkeeper born in 2006, most recently played with Cégep Montmorency and CF Montréal. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having been involved with the Canadian national team setup and even earning opportunities with CF Montréal’s first team.
Known for his commanding presence in the box and excellent ability to claim crosses, Alexis is more than just a traditional shot-stopper. His footwork is strong, and his athleticism allows him to reach angles that most goalkeepers simply can’t get to. His technical ability and physical profile make him a standout talent in his age group.
Grand Canyon University’s head coach, George Kiefer, is enthusiastic about the addition of Alexis to the team. Coach Kiefer was particularly impressed by Alexis’s CV and high-level experience, expressing confidence that Alexis will be ready to step in for the team’s current graduating goalkeeper.
Grand Canyon University is currently a top contender in the WAC (Western Athletic Conference) and is pushing for a spot in the NCAA tournament. Alexis will be joining a familiar face, his former CF Montréal reserve teammate Charles Volcy, who is already part of the GCU roster.
A huge congratulations to Alexis Martin on this incredible next step. The entire FMSpro team is proud and wishes him all the best in his collegiate and athletic journey!
