FMSPRO COMMITS
Amanda Minatel to FIU

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Amanda Minatel to NCAA Division I Florida International University (FIU).
Amanda, a highly technical and talented 2009 midfielder, currently plays with Vaughn in the OPDL. She will soon be heading to Northfield Mount Hermon School to compete in the ECNL for FC Stars. Known for her excellent vision and ability to cover a lot of ground, Amanda consistently breaks defensive lines, a quality that attracted numerous college programs.
Her college search became quite extensive after many schools reached out on June 15th. Following several calls and virtual meetings, Amanda ultimately chose FIU, feeling it was the perfect fit for both her soccer ambitions and academic goals. The opportunity to play FIU’s style of soccer in the vibrant city of Miami was simply one Amanda couldn’t pass up.
FIU’s soccer program is led by Head Coach Matt Dunn, whose assistant, hailing from Ontario, has fostered strong Canadian ties within the team. FIU has consistently been at the top of their conference, always competing for championships, and notably qualified for the national tournament this past season. Coach Dunn is incredibly excited about Amanda’s addition, confident she will be an excellent asset to the program.
Amanda commits alongside her twin sister, Daniella. It’s double trouble now as the twins head to Miami, ready to dominate on the field together! Amanda is also an excellent student in the classroom.
A huge congratulations to Amanda, and we wish her all the best!
