FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Clara Nichol to NCAA D1 University of Idaho.

Clara is an explosive and fast outside back who currently plays for Atlético Ottawa in the OPDL. Known for her extremely fast pace, Clara flies by players and gets right into the box, creating amazing chances. Clara isn’t afraid to service a ball from distance but also takes players on and gets into dangerous positions, making her an attacking threat.

While Clara plays as a defender, she knows where to be, and coaches love her attacking mentality. Clara also represented Team Ontario at the provincial games, where she played a significant role for the squad in their win against the NDC Rex program.

Clara is a very solid defender 1v1. It’s very tough to beat her and get by her, as she will likely always win a race. While many programs had interest in Clara, she commits to Idaho, where it was the best fit both academically and athletically.

Clara joins her teammate Brooklyn Siba, who will join the Vandals for the 2027 class. Idaho plays a very tough schedule and is constantly competing for a Big Sky Championship. The head coach is Jeremy Clevenger. Coach Clevenger needed an outside back who can come in and compete immediately.

Hopefully, Clara can be an addition that helps the program continue to compete for championships. Idaho is unique in playing in its indoor facility, the Kibbie Dome. They attract many thousands of fans at several games, where Clara will get to experience playing in an amazing atmosphere.
