FMSPRO COMMITS
Felipe Jaramillo Drolet to Florida Institute of Technology
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Felipe Jaramillo Drolet to Florida Institute of Technology.
Felipe is a highly talented goalkeeper who currently plays for Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League. He brings an impressive soccer résumé, having previously developed within the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy system while also representing the Colombia national football team at the Concacaf level.
Felipe made the decision to leave the Whitecaps Academy after earning the opportunity to join Vancouver FC’s first team environment. Standing at 6’2”, he is known for his excellent shot-stopping ability, strong presence in the box, and command of his defensive area.
Several schools showed strong interest in Felipe throughout the recruiting process, but he ultimately chose FIT, a program that consistently competes at a high level in NCAA Division II and aims to make deep runs in the national tournament. FIT competes in the highly competitive Sunshine State Conference, often regarded as one of the strongest conferences in Division II soccer.
The head coach at FIT is Nick Robinson, who is excited about Felipe’s addition to the program.
Off the field, Felipe is also an outstanding student and plans to pursue a degree in engineering.
Congratulations, Felipe, and wishing you continued success in this exciting next chapter!
