FMSPRO COMMITS
Jérémie Potvin to Worcester Academy
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Jérémie Potvin to Worcester Academy.
Jérémie is a commanding 6’6″ goalkeeper currently competing for CS St-Laurent in the PLSJQ. Possessing the ideal physical profile for the American collegiate and prep circuit, Jérémie is an elite shot-stopper who excels at claiming crosses and commanding his penalty area. He plays with a fearless, high-intensity style and is equally composed with his feet, showing great confidence when playing out of the back.
Jérémie has refined his craft under the tutelage of Rino Angelillo at Clean Sheet International, where he continues to perfect his technical goalkeeping skills. At the club level, he looks to lead St-Laurent toward a Canadian Championship, following in the successful footsteps of the club’s 2007 cohort.
Worcester Academy head coach Tumi Gugushe is thrilled to add such a physically imposing and talented goalkeeper to his roster. With Coach Gugushe’s impressive background and Worcester’s history of multiple NEPSAC Championships, the program is poised to return to the top of the standings. Furthermore, Worcester’s prime location will allow Jérémie to transition into top MLS Next or ECNL clubs once the prep season concludes.
Off the field, Jérémie is an excellent student-athlete who continues to excel in his academic pursuits.
Big congratulations, Jérémie! We wish you the very best of luck in Massachusetts.
