FMSPRO COMMITS

Joshua Nicholson to the Western Michigan University

A powerhouse signing for a powerhouse program! ✍️ FMSpro is thrilled to announce that dominant central midfielder Joshua Nicholson is headed to NCAA D1 Western Michigan University! A standout for the top team in Canada (Woodbridge 2008), a former Team Ontario captain, and a rare physical and technical talent, Joshua is exactly what the top-16 ranked Broncos need in their midfield.

FMSpro Announces Signing: Joshua Nicholson Joins NCAA D1 Western Michigan University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Joshua Nicholson to NCAA Division I Western Michigan University.

Joshua is a highly athletic and physical central midfielder or centre back who comes from the talented Woodbridge 2008 group. Woodbridge was recently recognized as the top team in Canada, having won both the National Championship and the OPDL regular season league. Joshua played an instrumental role in the team’s midfield success.

His impressive physicality makes him dominant in the air, while his technical skill allows him to effectively break lines. College coaches who have scouted Joshua often describe him as the definition of a player who is truly a rare find.

On the representative stage, Joshua served as team captain for Team Ontario, where he also played a vital role. He also spent time with the Jamaica U17 National Team at their camp.

Western Michigan Head Coach Chad Wiseman is very excited about the addition of Joshua, as the coaching staff agrees they need a physical presence in the midfield. The Broncos are a strong program, having been ranked in the top 16 in the country last season, and they look forward to Joshua helping them continue their success.

Big congratulations to Joshua and wishing him all the best in his collegiate career!
