FMSPRO COMMITS
Léanna Métivier to Indiana University of Pennsylvania
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Léanna Métivier to Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Léanna is a highly talented fullback who currently plays for Chaudière-Ouest in League1 Québec. It is especially impressive that Léanna, a 2009-born player, is already earning significant minutes at the senior level.
She is known for her speed, physicality, fearlessness, and high soccer IQ. Defensively, Léanna is very difficult to beat and consistently demonstrates excellent positioning and awareness on the field. Her ability to read the game and compete at a high level has made her one of the standout young defenders in her age group.
While several schools showed strong interest in Léanna, she chose Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a nationally ranked powerhouse program, as the best fit for her academic and athletic future. Head coach Kernell Borneo has built an extensively accomplished résumé and continues to lead a strong winning tradition within the program. Léanna will look to play an important role in helping the team compete for future championships.
Off the field, Léanna is also a dedicated and hardworking student in the classroom, further highlighting her commitment to excellence both academically and athletically.
Congratulations, Léanna! We wish you all the best in this exciting next chapter of your journey.
