FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Lucas Vidrascu to Belmont University.

Lucas is a commanding 6’5” center back who currently competes with the York United Academy. A member of the 2007 class, Lucas possesses a rare combination of massive size and impressive mobility, allowing him to cover significant ground across the backline. Beyond his physical stature, he is a technical defender who is exceptionally comfortable building play and picking out passes from the defensive third.

To any scout, Lucas is a standout prospect. He utilizes his frame to dominate aerial duels and physically outmatch opponents, yet remains a disciplined 1v1 defender with a clinical tackling ability.

While numerous programs pursued him, Lucas chose Belmont University, one of the premier academic institutions in the American South. He joins a Bruins program led by Head Coach Dave Costa, which is known for fielding one of the most physically imposing teams in their conference. Lucas is expected to fit in seamlessly, adding even more size and power to the squad.

Off the pitch, Lucas is an elite student-athlete, maintaining a near-perfect 4.0 GPA. Located in the heart of Nashville—one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.—Belmont offers the perfect backdrop for Lucas to study Business, providing him with incredible opportunities in the finance world following his collegiate career.
