FMSPRO COMMITS
Lucy Reis to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Lucy Reis to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
Lucy is a highly dynamic and technical player, capable of excelling as either a central midfielder or a winger. Currently competing for Burlington, Lucy is a fearless attacker who thrives when on the ball. She possesses the elite ability to both finish chances and create them, and she is expected to play a vital role in Burlington’s attacking third this season.
A standout 2009-born talent, Lucy previously enjoyed a successful career at Markham, where she became known for her exceptional work ethic and defensive contributions off the ball. While she may not be the tallest player on the pitch, Lucy “plays big,” using her tenacity and tactical intelligence to become an indispensable piece of any roster she joins.
While several programs showed interest in her talents, Lucy has committed to UCCS, a nationally-ranked program with a reputation for excellence. Head coach J.B. Belzer has implemented a sophisticated possession-style game—an environment where Lucy’s technical skill set and vision should allow her to thrive immediately.
Off the field, Lucy is an exemplary student-athlete who maintains a strong GPA and a high standard of academic excellence. She will now take her talents to Colorado Springs, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in the United States.
Big congratulations, Lucy! We wish you the very best of luck as you begin this incredible journey in the Rockies.
