FMSPRO COMMITS
Maika Proulx to New Mexico University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Maika Proulx to NCAA Division 1 program, the University of New Mexico.
Maika is an exceptionally talented goalkeeper who currently plays for AS Laval and also represents Team Quebec. Born in 2009, she has consistently been recognized as one of the top goalkeepers in the PLSJQ.
Known for her elite shot-stopping ability and precise distribution, Maika has built a strong reputation in the league through her consistent and high-level performances. She has also trained under renowned goalkeeper coach Rino Angelillo at Clean Sheet International, where she has continued to develop her technical and tactical game.
The University of New Mexico was in search of a goalkeeper who could come in and make an immediate impact, with their current starter graduating. The coaching staff is confident that Maika has the quality, mindset, and competitive drive to step in and contribute right away.
Head Coach Heather Dyche and Associate Head Coach Karley Nelson bring an impressive coaching pedigree, both having been involved with the U.S. National Team program. Under their guidance, the Lobos are consistently contenders for the Mountain West Championship, and they believe Maika can help continue that winning tradition.
In addition to her excellence on the field, Maika is also a dedicated student who performs at a high level academically.
A big congratulations to Maika Proulx — we wish you continued success in this exciting new chapter!
