FMSPRO COMMITS
Miguel Kwebou to Middlebury College
FMSPRO is proud to announce the commitment of Miguel Kwebou to Middlebury College.
Miguel is a very athletic, left-footed left back who currently plays for Taft School. Miguel is dynamic, physical, and loves to get forward.
Miguel isn’t afraid to take players on and get into the box, making him a big threat in the attacking third. Miguel is known as one of the most dynamic outside backs in the NEPSAC and someone who is consistently an important piece of the back line.
Prior to Taft, Miguel also played at CS St. Laurent, where he played a very important role in the back line and helped the team win the Canadian Championship. Off the field, Miguel is an outstanding student, maintaining a very strong GPA in the classroom.
While many programs at the highest levels across every division showed strong interest in Miguel, Middlebury College was the best fit both academically and athletically. Middlebury is known as a “Mini Ivy” institution, with an acceptance rate of approximately 6%. On the soccer field, Middlebury competes in the NESCAC, one of the most competitive conferences in the country, and consistently competes as a top-10 nationally ranked program.
The head coach at Middlebury is Alex Elias, a former standout alumnus who has continued to elevate the program.
The future is very bright, and hopefully Miguel can help Middlebury compete for a NESCAC Championship.
Big congratulations, Miguel, and wishing you all the best!
