A technically gifted giant is heading to a national contender! FMSpro is delighted to announce that versatile 6'2" defender Nathan Myers is committing to the University of Lynchburg. Known for his ball-playing ability, excellent vision, and high academic standards, Nathan chose Lynchburg to join a consistently Top 25 (and current Top 10) program. Head Coach Chris Yeager sees a "big ceiling" for Nathan—a technical player with rare size. Read on to celebrate Nathan's move to a program built for a national championship!

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Nathan Myers to the University of Lynchburg.

Nathan is a 6’2″ center back (CB) who is very technically sound. This ball-playing center back is so versatile and technical that he can also play as a defensive central midfielder. Nathan loves to pick a pass and start the attack, getting the team forward quickly in transition.

Nathan is a very smart student who maintains an excellent GPA. He was looking for a reputable school, which is why he fell in love with Lynchburg for both its incredible academics and its successful soccer program. Lynchburg is constantly ranked in the nation’s Top 25 and is currently a Top 10 program, looking to compete for a National Championship. Nathan has grown significantly over the last few years physically and is expected to be a big presence on the field.

The Head Coach at Lynchburg is Chris Yeager. Coach Yeager is very excited about Nathan’s addition and looks forward to developing him into something special. He notes that Nathan has a high ceiling, as you “cannot teach a technical player with lots of size.”

Big congratulations to Nathan, and we wish you all the best!
