FMSPRO COMMITS
Odelya Affoue Belezamo to Wake Forest University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Odelya Affoue Belezamo to Wake Forest University, an NCAA Division I institution.
Odelya, a 2009-born forward/winger, currently plays for AS Blainville and will be joining CF Montréal in the fall. Known for her elite speed, athleticism, and nose for goal, she is widely considered one of Quebec’s top prospects. Odelya has been instrumental in helping both the AS Blainville 2009 and 2008 teams qualify and compete for the Canadian Championship.
While she thrives in attack, Odelya also works hard defensively, tracking back and contributing to all phases of the game. Her work ethic and ability to beat defenders down the wings make her a dangerous and reliable player.
After receiving interest from multiple programs, Odelya chose Wake Forest as the best fit academically and athletically. Competing in the ACC — one of the most competitive conferences in the Power Four — the Demon Deacons are looking to rebound from an NCAA finals appearance and contend for another championship. The program is recognized as one of the nation’s most competitive destinations for recruits.
Associate Head Coach Brittany Cameron expressed excitement about the addition, noting: “Odelya’s speed is what we need on the wings.” A proven scorer in recent seasons, Odelya is expected to bring immediate impact to the attacking third.
Off the field, Odelya is an excellent student, maintaining a strong GPA and exemplifying the complete student-athlete model.
Congratulations to Odelya Affoue Belezamo! We wish her every success as she begins this exciting new chapter with Wake Forest University.
