FMSPRO COMMITS
Sophie Schultz to Oakland University
FMSpro is proud to announce the commitment of Sophie Schultz to NCAA Division I Oakland University.
Sophie is a technical and intelligent central midfielder who currently plays with Hamilton and most recently competed at Western Carolina. She is extremely comfortable on the ball and possesses a very high soccer IQ, consistently demonstrating excellent positioning and the ability to break lines with her passing.
Sophie has outstanding vision, can pick out key passes in tight spaces, and plays the game with great intelligence and composure. In addition to her playmaking ability, she also has a powerful shot and is not afraid to strike from distance, making her a dangerous attacking threat from midfield.
Oakland University continues to elevate its women’s soccer program and is excited about the addition of Sophie. The head coach at Oakland is Devin Zvosec, who looks forward to Sophie contributing both on and off the field.
Academically, Sophie will continue pursuing her degree in business, and Oakland is well known for providing excellent internship and professional development opportunities for its students. Sophie will look to help the program compete for a Horizon League championship in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Sophie! We wish you all the best in this exciting next chapter of your journey.
