FMSPRO COMMITS
Maksim Palisak to Western Illinois University

FMSpro is thrilled to announce the commitment of Maksim “Maks” Palisak to NCAA Division I Western Illinois University!
Maks is a highly intelligent and technically sharp central midfielder currently playing with Rush. Known for his ability to take on defenders, deliver incisive passes, and generate constant danger in the attacking third, Maks is a natural playmaker. His creativity and vision allow him to set up teammates in scoring positions time and time again.
In addition to his passing game, Maks is also a scoring threat. He possesses a powerful and accurate shot, giving him the ability to find the back of the net from midfield. His dynamic style of play forces defenses to stay alert at all times.
Western Illinois Head Coach Eric Johnson, who led the Leathernecks to the conference semi-finals last season, saw a need for one final key piece in the midfield—and believes Maks is exactly what they were looking for. With a strong returning squad and a renewed focus on championship contention, Coach Johnson is confident that Maks will contribute right away.
Off the field, Maks continues to impress in the classroom, maintaining strong academic performance and exemplifying what it means to be a student-athlete.
Congratulations, Maks! We’re excited to follow your next chapter with the Leathernecks. Wishing you continued success both on and off the field. Go Leathernecks!
