FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Karam Singh to Lycoming College.

Standing at 6’2″, Karam is a versatile defender capable of operating as both a Centre-Back and an Outside Back. For a player of his size, he is technically gifted and deceptively quick. He has spent his developmental years at Bryst Academy, where he played an instrumental role for their 2008 squad.

On the pitch, Karam is a dominant presence. He excels in the air, consistently winning 50/50 balls, and possesses the vision to distribute effectively from the back. Defensively, he is known for his tenacity; he tackles with intensity and does an exceptional job protecting the backline.

Karam joins a program led by the highly accomplished John Schwien. Bringing experience from Bucknell, Coach Schwien has already made a significant impact, guiding Lycoming to a Top 25 national ranking for much of the past season. Coach Schwien is very excited about the addition of Karam and believes he has a very high ceiling for development.

Academically, Karam plans to pursue his studies in the Sciences.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Yousef Mazraeh to Quincy University.

A modern, ball-playing centre-back, Yousef currently competes for The Borough. His standout attribute is his ability to break lines and drive the ball forward to initiate attacks. Defensively, he possesses strong recovery speed when tracking back and is a natural leader who communicates effectively across the backline.

Yousef brings a physical presence to the game; he has good size, is dominant in the air winning his 50/50 duels, and is never afraid to put in a hard slide tackle.

Off the field, Yousef is a dedicated student who maintains a very strong GPA.

Quincy Head Coach Mike Carpenter is thrilled with the addition of Yousef. Coach Carpenter views him as a player who can step in and make an immediate impact on the team. The Quincy Hawks play a demanding schedule against some of the top programs in the country, a challenge Yousef is well-prepared for. During his time at The Borough, he has received elite preparation, training and competing with both the 2008 squad and the League 1 Ontario side.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Xavier Chahal to NCAA Division 1 Stonehill College.

Standing at an imposing 6’4″, Xavier is a commanding centre-back who currently plays for the Cavalry FC Reserves. He spent his entire youth career developing with BTB Soccer Academy, building a strong foundation for his recent success. Xavier also represented Team Alberta, where he played an instrumental role in leading the squad to the finals at Nationals.

For a player of his stature, Xavier is exceptionally technically gifted and clean on the ball. His mobility, combined with his physical presence, makes him a dominant force in the backline.

While many programs showed significant interest in his recruitment, Xavier ultimately committed to Stonehill as it proved to be the ideal fit both academically and athletically. Off the pitch, Xavier is a standout student, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Standing at an imposing 6’4″, Dewaan is a versatile defender who operates primarily as a centre-back but possesses the athleticism to play full-back. He currently plays for the talented 2008 Woodbridge squad—a team that recently won Nationals and was ranked as the top team in Canada. Dewaan played a pivotal role in anchoring their backline during this championship run.

Dewaan’s physical attributes set him apart; his long strides give him deceptive pace, while his strong movement allows him to cover wide areas effectively when needed.

While several schools showed strong interest in his recruitment, Dewaan ultimately committed to Windsor, where he will join their renowned Engineering program. An excellent student with a very high GPA, this decision allows him to combine elite athletics with top-tier academics.

Nathan is an exceptionally athletic and versatile talent, capable of dominating the game as a central defensive midfielder or anchoring the back line as a center-back. He joins the Red Foxes following a highly successful stint at Iowa Western, one of the most prestigious junior college programs in the United States. Under the guidance of Coach Brown, Nathan played an instrumental role in a system that is constantly in the hunt for national championships.

While Nathan attracted interest from several high-level programs, he chose Marist as the premier fit for his academic and athletic ambitions. Marist, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, recently enjoyed a historic season where they were ranked among the Top 25 programs in the nation for a significant portion of the year. For Nathan, the move also offers a geographic advantage, bringing the Quebec native closer to home while he competes at the highest level of collegiate soccer.

Brennan is an exceptional and athletic goalkeeper who brings a wealth of high-level experience to the collegiate stage. A product of the Oakville soccer system in Ontario, Brennan has spent the last two years refining his craft at the prestigious Western Reserve Academy in Ohio.

As a shot-stopper, Brennan possesses a massive presence between the posts. He is widely recognized for his ability to command his penalty area and communicate effectively with his back line—qualities that were instrumental to Western Reserve’s success. Beyond his defensive instincts, Brennan’s distribution is a key asset to his game; he demonstrates the technical ability to build play out of the back with precision or clear the lines with powerful, accurate long-range kicking when under pressure.

While several programs expressed interest in his profile, Brennan chose D’Youville University for its perfect synergy of athletics and academics. D’Youville has become a destination of choice for elite student-athletes, particularly due to its highly-rated medical and science programs. Brennan intends to pursue a degree in the sciences while competing at the NCAA Division II level.

D’Youville Head Coach Sean Hallas is thrilled to add Brennan to the roster, noting that he was specifically looking for a goalkeeper capable of competing for a starting role immediately. Brennan’s arrival provides the Saints with a reliable, high-IQ anchor in goal.
