FMSpro is thrilled to announce the signing of Alexander Salvo with Deerfield Academy. Alexander, a skilled defender from the formidable 2007 AS Blainville team, excels in ball control and possesses remarkable vision. Not just limited to defense, Alex’s versatility shines through his ability to play in midfield, making him an attacking-minded defender with a knack for advancing into the attacking third. Beyond his technical prowess on the field, Alex stands out as an exceptional student, aligning with Deerfield’s reputation as one of the world’s most academically rigorous institutions, boasting a less than 5% acceptance rate for Grade 11. Deerfield’s head coach, Casey Vollinger, was captivated by Alex’s performance at our summer event, recognizing him as a crucial addition to bolster the squad’s dynamics. After a promising season, just shy of playoff qualification, Deerfield anticipates Alex’s contribution will be pivotal in reaching new heights. A noteworthy aspect of Alex’s journey will be the rivalry matches against Choate Rosemary Hall, where he’ll face his former teammate, Juliano Masella.
