A highly skilled and intelligent wingback from Lake Shore in the PLSJQ, Melina has demonstrated exceptional ability both in advancing the attack and fortifying the defense. Born in 2007, her agility and speed have been crucial to Lake Shore’s achievements, making her an invaluable asset on the field. Melina’s dedication and her capability to adapt dynamically—whether pressing the attack or solidifying defense—set her apart. Among several offers from prestigious prep schools, Taft emerged as her school of choice. Head Coach Rebecca Parente anticipates Melina will make a significant and immediate impact, enhancing the team’s competitive edge and contributing to its success. Beyond the field, Melina excels academically, nearing a 4.0 GPA.
