Hyde School is coming off a successful season, having recently won the NEPSAC Class D championship. While the program will be graduating several key players, they are actively seeking to replenish their talent pool.

Matisse is a 6’4″, highly athletic, and fast central defender. With experience playing for McGill and Green Bay, he has proven himself to be a dominant force at the next level. Matisse is skilled with both feet and is capable of delivering exceptional crosses. Several professional clubs have already expressed interest in him and will be closely monitoring his progress.

In addition to his athletic ability, Matisse is also an excellent student, performing well in the classroom. The University of San Francisco recently lost their star center-back, who was drafted 5th overall in the 2024 MLS Draft. The coaching staff believes Matisse is the perfect fit to fill that void and will make an immediate impact on the team’s backline.

Ava has an impressive resume, including representation on the U17 Philippines National Team and recent promotion to the U20 squad. Despite numerous offers, Ava was drawn to Georgia State, recognizing the ideal fit for her playing style and aspirations.

Georgia State University’s Head Coach, Edward Joyce, was impressed by Ava’s skills during our Winter Showcase and is excited to welcome her to the program. Coach Joyce believes Ava will significantly strengthen the team’s attacking third.
