FMSpro commits David Villavicencio to Furman University

FMSPRO COMMITS

David Villavicencio to Furman University

David Villavicencio signs with Furman University soccer

FMSpro is proud to announce that David Villavicencio has signed with NCAA Division I Furman University. David is an exceptionally talented left-footed left back who currently plays for Hartford Athletic and attends Choate Rosemary Hall.

David is an explosive left back who excels at getting forward and making dangerous runs into the attacking third. His potent left foot makes him a significant threat, especially for teams that love to counter-attack. David’s impressive resume includes appearances and training experience with Hartford Athletic in the USL Championship. During his time at Choate Rosemary Hall, David was instrumental in leading his team to the semifinals last season, playing a crucial role in the backline and establishing himself as one of the best left backs in the NEPSAC.

Beyond his athletic prowess, David is an excellent student who sought a university that offered both high-level academics and competitive soccer. Furman University, with its outstanding academic reputation, perfectly fits his aspirations.

Coach Brandon Tucker, the Associate Head Coach and soon-to-be Head Coach at Furman, specifically sought a left-footed left back who could make an immediate impact. Coach Tucker is incredibly excited about David’s potential and high ceiling. The Furman program consistently performs well, regularly competing for the Southern Conference (SoCon) championship.

Furman also boasts notable alumni, including Clint Dempsey, who made over 140 appearances for the US National Team and played in multiple World Cups and the English Premier League. David will now bring his talents to the South and enjoy the warmer climate.

Big congratulations, David, and we wish you all the best!

FMSpro commits David Germain to University of Central Arkansas

FMSPRO COMMITS

David Germain to University of Central Arkansas

David Germain signs with University of Central Arkansas

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of David Germain to NCAA Division I University of Central Arkansas.

David is a talented left-footed center-back who currently plays with Hoosac School and AS Blainville. Coaches highly value his athleticism and his left-footed advantage on the pitch. David covers a significant amount of ground and is an excellent 1-v-1 defender.

During his time at Hoosac School, David has played an instrumental role in the backline, contributing significantly to Hoosac’s competitive drive for a championship. Beyond his crucial defensive contributions, David has maintained a strong GPA, positioning him well for recruitment by numerous colleges.

University of Central Arkansas Head Coach Kyle Segebart was particularly impressed by David’s athleticism and believes he has a very high ceiling for growth. Central Arkansas is looking to compete for a championship after reaching the ASUN finals in their recent season. The 2026 recruiting class is a critical one, and Coach Segebart is excited to officially add David as a key part of it.

Despite receiving interest from several other schools, David ultimately chose Central Arkansas because it perfectly aligned with his academic and athletic aspirations. Adding to the comfort of this transition, David will also join two other Montreal players already committed to the 2026 class, which will undoubtedly make his next chapter even more seamless.

A huge congratulations to David, and we wish him all the best in his collegiate journey!

Amanda Minatel commits to Florida International University soccer

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Amanda Minatel to NCAA Division I Florida International University (FIU).

Amanda, a highly technical and talented 2009 midfielder, currently plays with Vaughn in the OPDL. She will soon be heading to Northfield Mount Hermon School to compete in the ECNL for FC Stars. Known for her excellent vision and ability to cover a lot of ground, Amanda consistently breaks defensive lines, a quality that attracted numerous college programs.

Her college search became quite extensive after many schools reached out on June 15th. Following several calls and virtual meetings, Amanda ultimately chose FIU, feeling it was the perfect fit for both her soccer ambitions and academic goals. The opportunity to play FIU’s style of soccer in the vibrant city of Miami was simply one Amanda couldn’t pass up.

FIU’s soccer program is led by Head Coach Matt Dunn, whose assistant, hailing from Ontario, has fostered strong Canadian ties within the team. FIU has consistently been at the top of their conference, always competing for championships, and notably qualified for the national tournament this past season. Coach Dunn is incredibly excited about Amanda’s addition, confident she will be an excellent asset to the program.

Amanda commits alongside her twin sister, Daniella. It’s double trouble now as the twins head to Miami, ready to dominate on the field together! Amanda is also an excellent student in the classroom.

A huge congratulations to Amanda, and we wish her all the best!
