Sam Banfi → Snow College

Sam Banfi at Snow College

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Sam Banfi with Snow College. Sam brings an impressive CV, having developed in the CF Montreal academy. He is an extremely talented goalkeeper, known for his shot-stopping abilities and command of the box. Sam was listed on the U20 national team. Born in 2004, he is projected to have a bright future.

Sam most recently played semi-professionally for AS Blainville. He was sought after by some of the top junior colleges, but the connection with the coach at Snow College made it the right fit for him. Snow College, known for its top-notch program and challenging schedule, will be an excellent environment for Sam.

His move to CF Montreal required him to leave school, leading him to choose junior college to get back on track academically. Snow College will not only prepare Sam but also serve as a springboard for his future. The head coach of Snow College, Jack Larter, is very excited about Sam’s addition, stating, “We wanted a stud goalkeeper, and that’s what we’re getting.”

We at FMSpro are delighted to share the news of Nathan Hikspoors’ signing with Bridgton Academy.  Bridgton Academy, a cornerstone of excellence in New England’s soccer scene, is an ideal destination for Nathan’s burgeoning career.

Nathan stands out as a technical centre back (CB), bringing his rich experience from playing with MU21AAA for the BDF Titans. His international exposure, including a stint in Brazil, has honed his skills, blending physical strength with strategic vision on the field.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Ben Pearson, Nathan is set to thrive at Bridgton Academy. Coach Pearson, known for his expertise in nurturing young talent, eagerly anticipates incorporating Nathan’s robust skillset into the team’s framework.

This signing is an exciting development for Nathan, representing both an accomplishment and a promising new chapter. FMSpro, along with the Bridgton community, extends a warm congratulations to Nathan Hikspoors. We look forward to supporting him as he embarks on this journey and are excited to witness the contributions he will make to his new team.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Massimo Dumoulin at Central Wyoming College.

Massimo is a big strong CB/LB who most recently played for Lanaudiere Sud. He now plays for MU21AAA for Bois des Filion, standing at 6ft4 with a commanding presence on the field.

Joining one of the top Junior college conferences, Massimo will compete against schools consistently ranked in the top 25, including Salt Lake.

Coach Ken DeCook of Central Wyoming, with his vast experience, is excited about the recruits for 2024 and sees Massimo as a critical addition to his backline.

FMSpro signs Mohammed Baalbaki to Otero College. This talented centre midfielder hails from Cegep Ahuntsic, the country’s top program soon competing at the nationals. Mohammed, at 6ft1, excels with his aerial prowess and playmaking skills, making him instrumental to his team’s success.

Otero College is ranked in the top 25 for D1 Junior colleges and is known for advancing players to top NCAA D1 programs. Coaches Matthew Miller and Alberto Garcia believe Mohammed will take their program to new heights. He had his pick of offers, but Otero’s vision best matched his aspirations.

Jasmine Lim → Utah Valley University

Jasmine Lim to NCAAD1 Utah Valley

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Jasmine Lim with NCAA D1 Utah Valley University. Jasmine currently plays for the CF Montreal academy. Jasmine is an astute and technical player. She excels at creating opportunities on the field and is also adept at scoring goals. She possesses excellent vision and is proficient at winning balls in the air.

Although Jasmine received several offers, she believed Utah Valley was the best overall fit. Currently, Utah Valley ranks within the top 65. Historically, Utah Valley is a top 25 program and consistently qualifies for the NCAA tournament. The head coach of Utah Valley is Chris Lemay. Chris is competitive and believes Jasmine is the central midfielder they require, someone who can step in and replace his graduating senior central midfielder.

Jasmine will have the opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in the country. Moreover, Utah Valley boasts one of the top 5 fan attendances for home games, averaging several thousand spectators. A new stadium for the team is also under construction.

Esther Brossard at Lehigh University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Esther Brossard at the highly distinguished Lehigh University in PA, located a short drive from New York City. Esther is one of the most talented 2006 players in Canada and a prolific goalscorer that has broken many records. The striker owns 4 Golden Shoes awards: 2021 U19AAA, 2022 U17AAA & U21AAA, 2023 SemiPro L1QC, and led her team this summer to the League One Canada National finals. Esther was also awarded Quebec Athlete of the year in a collective sport in 2023.

The talented goalscorer had several NCAAD1 offers. As an impressive student in the classroom, Esther was selected to enter prestigious and renowned Lehigh University. This private research institution is ranked in the top 15 by The Wall Street Journal 2024 Best University Rankings in America. Living on a breathtaking campus, she will proudly attend P.C. Rossin College of Engineering & Applied Science. Furthermore, Esther will compete as a Mountain Hawk in the Patriot League under the supervision of alumni coaches Lauren Calabrese and Gina Lewandowski, former professional player for FC Bayern Munich- NJ/NY Gotham FC.

Braden Stevanovic → West Virginia University

Braden Stevanovic at West Virginia University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Braden Stevanovic to NCAA D1’s West Virginia University. Braden ranks among the top 15 players in the country for his age group. Born in 2006, this midfielder has made appearances with Canada’s U17 team and was on the preliminary list for the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia.

At the provincial level, Braden represented Team Ontario, playing a pivotal role in their successes. The left-footed midfielder showcases great versatility, adept at playing in various positions within the midfield and attacking third. Braden’s agility and explosiveness, combined with his keen goal sense, set him apart. Before transitioning to play in League One Ontario for Windsor City FC, where he notched a hat-trick in his debut, he was part of the Toronto FC Academy.

Braden is certainly a talent to watch closely, with potential for an early MLS draft pick. He received offers from, and caught the interest of, numerous D1 programs, but West Virginia stood out as the best fit. The head coach of West Virginia University is Daniel Stratford, an alumnus of the same institution and a former MLS draftee. His assistants, Andy Wright and Nick Noble, are both West Virginia alumni and were subsequently drafted into the MLS. The team currently holds a position in the NCAA D1 top 5.

Additionally, FTF Canada ranked Braden number 1 and supported his significant decision. The future is undoubtedly bright for Braden, and tracking his progress over the upcoming years will be thrilling. Congratulations, Braden! We wish you all the best.

Kundalini Bien Aimé Dominique at Simon Fraser University

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Kundalini Bien Aimé Dominique at Simon Fraser University. Kundalini started developing as a player while growing up in the CF Montreal Academy. He most recently played in Semi-Pro League One for C.S. Longueuil. Kunda is a very athletic and explosive winger or striker, posing a significant threat in the attacking third. He is definitely someone to watch at the next level. He’s known for his speed and his ability to take on players in one-on-one situations. The striker/midfielder has a very high ceiling with many professional attributes in his game.

Kundalini had several offers, but Simon Fraser made the most sense. Simon Fraser competes in the GNAC, which is one of the most competitive conferences. They are consistently a winning program and have a reputation for sending several players on to play professionally at the next level. The head coach for Simon Fraser is Clint Schneider. Clint is extremely excited about the addition of Kundalini. He looks forward to what Kundalini will bring to the attacking third and is eager to see him help take the program to the next level. Big things are coming!

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of David Germain to Hoosac School. David hails from the talented 2007 group at A.S. Blainville. This 2007 CB is extraordinarily athletic and a formidable opponent. Renowned for his physicality and vision, David possesses immense potential. David first caught our attention during our recent showcase in June. After the event, David visited Hoosac, which was keen to sign him immediately. After consulting with his school and confirming feasibility, David and Hoosac swiftly reached an agreement. David will join them for their upcoming competition games next weekend. Hoosac is recognized as a soccer powerhouse. While the team has had success this year, they felt a gap in their defensive line. With David’s addition, they anticipate added depth to their backline. Head Coach Paulo Franco emphasized the urgency in securing David and expressed immense enthusiasm for David’s inclusion in the team.

Notably, David is the fourth Quebec player we’ve signed to Hoosac this year.

Skye Cuscuna → UMASS Amherst

Skye Cuscuna at UMASS Amherst

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Skye Cuscuna with NCAA D1 UMass Amherst. Currently, Skye is the leading scorer in the entire PLSJQ league for U16, boasting 23 goals in just 12 games. Her lethal left foot makes her exceptionally dangerous in the attacking third. Additionally, Skye has been an instrumental part of the success of the U17 St. Hubert team, which departs for the nationals in two weeks. We hope Skye will help the U17 team clinch a Canadian Championship.

The left-footed forward received over 35 NCAA D1 offers, presenting her with a multitude of challenging decisions. Ultimately, UMass Amherst emerged as the school where Skye saw her best fit. UMass Amherst has had a commendable start to the season, notably defeating the powerhouse Syracuse from the ACC. Impressively, Skye maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom.

The head coach for UMass Amherst, Jason Dowiak, expresses his enthusiasm about Skye’s addition, believing she’s precisely what the program needs to elevate to the next level.
