To all the participants of FindMe Showcase,
We are quickly approaching the Jan 28 and 29 weekend event and there is a lot of inforamation to know.
Please read carefully below as there are many details that are being provided.
Arrival: Saturday Jan 28th please be at the Soocerplexe Catalogna 775 1re ave Lachine H4S2S6 for 7:30 am to register. You will register once you arrive .When you register, you will need to tell us if you intend to participate in the Q&A after the session Sunday. The Q&A will be held at Novotel Hotel 2599 Alfred Nobel H4S 2G1.from 1 30 pm to 2 30 pm. Details in another email regarding Q&A
At registration, you will be given your jersey with your number. You must wear your jersey both days that weekend. That is how you are identified. If you forget your jersey, you cannot participate in the event. Remember your indoor cleats and shin guards (if you wear). There will be a locker room to change into once you arrive. You are responsible for your jackets and boots and all belongings. CLOTHING: ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR BLACK SHORTS AND BLACK SOCKS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE
Parking: Parking is free at Soccerplexe Catalogna. If you attend the Q&A at the Novotel Hotel afterwards, parking also is free but there are limited spaces. This is why we ask you when registering what day you will be attending.
Once you are parked and on the site, volunteers will be there to direct you to where registration takes place.
Volunteers will be wearing shirts with our logo on it. Please ask them for any help you may need.
Registering: You will register at a table that is organized by last name.
It is VERY important that you arrive on time as we need to process a lot of people in short time to get this event started. Once registering, please get your equipment on and wait on the field on the benches. Family members and spectators are NOT allowed on the field and must wait upstairs or in the stands. NOBODY IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD OTHER THAN PLAYERS, COACHES and FINDME EMPLOYEES.
Schedule: The Showcase takes place Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 12:00pm for all players.
Goalies: All goalies meet on the field at 8:45 am. Saturday and Sunday.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE DETAILS:
Physio: We will have a physio on site if you need to be stretched or taped during the showcase. Our physio has limited time so please go see him as soon as you are knowing your require him.
Photography: There will be photographer circulating throughout the weekend taking pictures of the event. Pictures can be used for promotional reasons as well as social media.
Food and Beverage: There is no food or beverages served. Soccerplexe does provide a snack bar where you can purchase something. It may be a good idea to eat something on the way to the hotel before Q&A at hotel should you attend. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR WATER BOTTLES.
Parents: Parents and Guardians are prohibited to go on the field at any time. However, we ask that you watch the players from the stands.
THIS EVENT GOES ON RAIN OR SHINE OR SNOWSTORM!!
It is very important that all players understand that this opportunity is to give coaches from a wide range of colleges, universities and clubs the ability to see your talent and skills. The visibility you will all have takes place over the entire weekend. It is not based on one drill or one game. It is a weekend-long event that enables you to have many opportunities to shine. We encourage you to take advantage of this unique event, come out with your best attitude and show them what you have!!
