Recognized for his physical strength and midfield dominance, Mathis is not only a top-tier player but also an exceptional student, boasting impressive grades. Taft School is renowned for its elite soccer program and academic excellence across New England. Head Coach Ozzie Parente, who has been keenly following Mathis since our 2023 summer showcase, is excited about this addition. After a near win last season, finishing as runners-up, Coach Parente is confident that Mathis’s signing will elevate the midfield and steer Taft towards a New England championship.
