FMSpro is thrilled to announce that dominant center back Lauren Reid (Burlington 08) is committed to NCAA D1 Western Illinois University! A strong, confident 1v1 defender and a leader in the back, Lauren will be joining her twin sister, Mya, to help anchor the Leathernecks' future classes.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Lauren Reid to NCAA Division I Western Illinois University.

Lauren is a dominant center back who, like her sister, plays a year up for the Burlington 08 team as a 2009-born athlete. On the field, Lauren is known for being strong, confident in 1v1 defending, and consistently winning her battles. She is a natural leader in the back line and communicates effectively.

When the team needs to go direct, Lauren is skilled at hitting a good long ball behind the back line to stretch the field—a valuable asset in the NCAA game. Her versatile playing style allows her to adapt quickly to any situation or game style.

Lauren will be joining her twin sister, Mya, as the dynamic duo takes their talent to Macomb, Illinois, to represent the Leathernecks. Head Coach Ross Henderson is very excited about the future of his program, noting that the twins will be key additions to his talented 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes. Lauren is also an excellent student off the field.

Mira Dhillon to the Abilene Christian University

A leading goal-scorer in the BCSPL is heading to Texas! FMSpro is thrilled to announce that dynamic 2009-born attacking midfielder Mira Dhillon will be joining Abilene Christian University's Women's Soccer program. Known for her 'bulldog mentality' and constant threat in the attacking third, Mira is the exact profile Head Coach Stephen Salas was looking for to help the Wildcats take the next big step in the 2027 class. Read on to learn more about this exciting commitment!

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Mira Dhillon to NCAA Division I Abilene Christian University (ACU).

Mira is an athletic center attacking midfielder, false 9, or winger who plays for Burnaby, one of the top teams in the BCSPL (British Columbia Soccer Premier League). The 2009-born attacking midfielder has a great nose for goal and has constantly been one of the leading goal-scorers in the BCSPL. Mira loves to take players on and is very dangerous in the attacking third. Her ‘bulldog mentality’ allows her to plow past players and get into the box.

The head coach at Abilene Christian is Stephen Salas. Coach Salas is very excited about the addition of Mira and feels she will be a great addition, fitting the exact profile they wanted to help the program take the next big step in the 2027 class. Abilene Christian schedules a very competitive slate of games, playing some of the top teams in the country.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Ezrah Rubabaza to NCAA Division I Radford University.

Ezrah is a very athletic centre back or outside back who most recently played for the Markham program and also represented Team Ontario. Ezrah is a tremendous athlete who is dominant in the air and covers a lot of ground defensively. Her athleticism and pace give her the versatility to effectively play many positions on the field.

Though Ezrah had several schools interested, she chose Radford University. The coaching staff at Radford firmly believes she can make an immediate impact on the program and help them compete for a Big South Conference Championship. Ezrah’s ceiling is very high, and her future at the collegiate level is incredibly bright.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Joshua Nicholson to NCAA Division I Western Michigan University.

Joshua is a highly athletic and physical central midfielder or centre back who comes from the talented Woodbridge 2008 group. Woodbridge was recently recognized as the top team in Canada, having won both the National Championship and the OPDL regular season league. Joshua played an instrumental role in the team’s midfield success.

His impressive physicality makes him dominant in the air, while his technical skill allows him to effectively break lines. College coaches who have scouted Joshua often describe him as the definition of a player who is truly a rare find.

On the representative stage, Joshua served as team captain for Team Ontario, where he also played a vital role. He also spent time with the Jamaica U17 National Team at their camp.

Western Michigan Head Coach Chad Wiseman is very excited about the addition of Joshua, as the coaching staff agrees they need a physical presence in the midfield. The Broncos are a strong program, having been ranked in the top 16 in the country last season, and they look forward to Joshua helping them continue their success.

FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of JT Newbury to Colorado College.

JT is a highly talented centre back who plays at St. George’s School in Rhode Island and for IFA in the MLS NEXT. He is a very technical player who is not afraid to challenge opponents for the ball. With excellent vision, JT is the heart of his team’s backline.

Despite receiving interest from many top programs, JT chose Colorado College because it was the best fit for him both academically and athletically.

The program is led by Head Coach Scott Palguta. The former MLS star has an impressive coaching résumé and is considered one of the most successful coaches in the country. Coach Palguta is extremely excited about the addition of JT, believing he is exactly what the team needs to compete for a championship.

Colorado College is often considered the “Ivy League of the Mountain West.”

A talented left-footed midfielder from Pickering, Alessia is known for her exceptional vision, precise passing, and powerful left foot. Born in 2008, she consistently demonstrates high soccer IQ, always knowing where to be on the field and how to create opportunities for her teammates.

Fresh off winning nationals with her Pickering team, Alessia played an instrumental role in the attacking third, helping lead her squad to success.

SEMO Head Coach John Klein, who has quickly elevated the program’s competitiveness in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC), is thrilled to welcome Alessia as part of the 2026 recruiting class. He believes her addition will make an immediate impact on the program’s continued success.

Off the field, Alessia excels academically, maintaining a strong GPA and showing the same commitment to her studies as she does to her sport. While she received interest from several programs, Alessia chose Southeast Missouri State University for its perfect blend of academic excellence and athletic opportunity.

Born in 2009, she has developed a reputation as a relentless goal scorer who loves to take on defenders and create scoring opportunities. Her ability to produce key goals has made her an instrumental part of her club’s success.

Eckerd College Head Coach, Luke Sheekey, is thrilled about Olivia’s addition to the program, noting that she has the potential to become a major contributor for the team.

While several programs showed interest, Olivia chose Eckerd College for its excellent soccer environment and the opportunity to train and compete year-round in Florida’s warm climate. FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Alexis Martin to NCAA Division 1 program Grand Canyon University.

Alexis, a 6’6” goalkeeper born in 2006, most recently played with Cégep Montmorency and CF Montréal. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having been involved with the Canadian national team setup and even earning opportunities with CF Montréal’s first team.

Known for his commanding presence in the box and excellent ability to claim crosses, Alexis is more than just a traditional shot-stopper. His footwork is strong, and his athleticism allows him to reach angles that most goalkeepers simply can’t get to. His technical ability and physical profile make him a standout talent in his age group.

Grand Canyon University’s head coach, George Kiefer, is enthusiastic about the addition of Alexis to the team. Coach Kiefer was particularly impressed by Alexis’s CV and high-level experience, expressing confidence that Alexis will be ready to step in for the team’s current graduating goalkeeper.

Grand Canyon University is currently a top contender in the WAC (Western Athletic Conference) and is pushing for a spot in the NCAA tournament. Alexis will be joining a familiar face, his former CF Montréal reserve teammate Charles Volcy, who is already part of the GCU roster.

Sofia is a highly talented goalkeeper who currently plays for Hamilton United in the OPDL. Recognized as one of the top goalkeepers in her age group, she is known for her exceptional shot-stopping abilities and her confident command of the penalty area.

Her communication and leadership along the back line have been instrumental in keeping her team competitive in tightly contested matches against some of the league’s strongest opponents.

Off the field, Sofia excels academically, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while preparing to pursue a demanding academic program alongside her collegiate soccer career.

While multiple schools expressed interest in Sofia, the opportunity at Florida Tech was one she simply couldn’t pass up. Head Coach Katy Freels is thrilled about Sofia’s addition to the squad and believes she has the potential to make an immediate impact.
