FMSPRO COMMITS
Daniella Minatel to FIU
FMSpro is proud to announce the signing of Daniella Minatel to NCAA Division I Florida International University (FIU).
Daniella is a highly technical midfielder with an exceptional soccer IQ and excellent vision. Currently playing with Vaughn in the OPDL, she will soon transition to Northfield Mount Hermon School and compete in the ECNL for FC Stars.
When colleges began reaching out on June 15th, Daniella’s recruitment became quite extensive. After numerous calls and Zoom meetings, Daniella ultimately chose FIU, feeling it was the ideal fit for both her athletic and academic aspirations. She is recognized as one of the best midfielders in the OPDL, covering significant ground and consistently breaking lines, qualities that attracted many college programs.
The opportunity to play FIU’s style of soccer in the vibrant city of Miami was simply too good for Daniella to pass up.
FIU, led by Head Coach Matt Dunn and his assistant (who hails from Ontario, fostering strong Canadian ties), has consistently been at the top of their conference, always competing for championships. This past season, they qualified for the national tournament.
Head Coach Dunn is incredibly excited about the addition of Daniella, confident she will be an excellent asset to the program. Daniella commits alongside her twin sister, Amanda. It’s double trouble now as the twins head to Miami, ready to dominate on the field together! Amanda is also an excellent student.
A huge congratulations to both Daniella and Amanda, and we wish you all the best!
